Pictures from Early Summer 2008

Once again, I am months behind posting pictures on the family blog. I don't think I'll be starting a new career as a professional blogger! Here's a few of early summer:Graham tries to play basketball in Daddy's shoes. Graham--toddler size 7, Daddy--size 15. Graham has big shoes to fill!
I got a crown from a co-workers birthday party. Graham seemed to think he made a better princess than Mommy.
Graham blowing out the candles on his 2nd birthday cake!
Graham sitting at the picnic table Grandpa and Grandma Christenson got him for his birthday. Someone had crazy "bead head".

Graham sings "Rueben Rueben"

Graham sings one of his favorite songs, "Rueben Rueben". He loves to sing. Unfortunately for him, he is as tone deaf as his mother!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Graham sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame. It's one of his favorite songs to sing. Go Brewers!

Graham's Easter Basket

Graham thought it was hilarious to wear his Easter Basket as a helmet--a football helmet to be exact!

Graham's 1st Easter Egg Hunt

Graham really didn't get the concept of an Easter Egg Hunt. He just wanted to watch the other kids run around. As you can see from the top picture, he did like the suckers that were thrown at his feet!

Graham plays Uncle Phil's banjo

Graham "jammed" with Uncle Phil on his banjo.

Trip to the Zoo

Mommy and Daddy and Graham at the Desert Dome at the Zoo.

No Way "Hose-y"

Graham surprised Mom and Dad at the dinner table evening. He answered our "get down from the chair" with this. In case you cannot understand him, he's telling us, "No way, Jose." Apparently, he picked this up from his friend Connor at daycare. We were so stunned with his new phrase, we had to have him repeat it numerous times so that we could videotape it.

Trip to the Omaha Children's Museum

Graham tries on a hat in the "dress up" area.
Graham and Mommy color together.

Graham and Daddy drive a fun-looking car.

Mr. Sensitive

I have to admit that it makes me smile a whole lot to see Graham playing with his baby doll. He is very gentle with "baby". He feeds baby and changes baby's diaper (that is actually our favorite thing to do with baby--we often find baby naked. Should I be worried? :) ).

Child of 2008

We listened to our parents 8-track tapes, record players, etc. Children of today listen to daddy's i-pod. Technology changes, but some things never will!

I'm behind as always...Christmas 2007

Graham plays outside in the snow at Grandpa and "Hama" Christenson's house.
John, Graham and I with Great Grandma Christenson (John's Grandma) at her 95th Birthday party.
The Baumert family Christmas picture. Looks pretty decent considering it took us about 5 attempts, several of which John had not made it back before the timer went off! :)

Graham and Uncle Andy.
